Believe-In Yoga classes for children and families incorporate evidence based, scientifically recognised methods, developed to help overcome many of life's challenges.

 
 

Classes & Tuition



Our Yoga classes for children and families are built around the themes found in our book series like growing self-esteem and confidence. Classes are a safe and calming space for children to develop and families to bond.

How do we help children to believe-in themselves? Believe-In Yoga classes for children and families give children the space, tools and strategies in a full, holistic, mind-body approach that can help children and young people’s physical bodies, emotional health and their mental health and well-being.

 

Since 2014 we have run local classes. I have offered various classes for toddlers, children, and families. Believe-In classes for children and families can be tailored around any theme and include adventure, books and events or special days such as jungle adventures, magic carpet rides, animals, space, seasons, chakras, sports and mother’s day to name only a few. .

 

As we all know children can experience difficulties in confidence, low self-esteem, difficulty with friendships, worries, anxiety, struggling to manage emotions etc.

Some children experience adversity from witnessing violence, bereavement, or abuses. All of which creates difficulties and experiences that affect children health and well-being.

With that in mind, Believe-In Yoga from our outset in 2016 have ensured our approach to trauma and sensitivity and includes movements, activities and exercises to help strengthen our children’s activation residue within the body.

It was however in 2020 that Believe-In Yoga created a whole new approach that is more holistic, more therapeutic, not only body and mind and but emotionally.

All of the activities, exercises and strategies shown to young people are evidence based, scientifically chosen for its benefits that support building of a child’s resilience, self-esteem, confidence and belief within themselves.

Classes

Believe in Yoga classes for children & families are 1hr long and are that mixture of activities physical, emotional awareness and activities/awareness that benefit mental health processes. Each class builds on the previous and are based around the Believe-in books.

Workshops

Workshops are a 1.5hrs long and are a taster of one of the books above, this again always includes the elements of a believe-in class that are therapeutic to mind, body, and emotions.


Private Classes

Private Classes can be arranged for children that would like to focus on physical difficulties, mental health struggles or to help emotional regulation. These classes will go more in-depth in their assessment, class planning and evaluations.
